Etter 11 år som vaktmester rundt i Elverums-distriktet var Robert Obrebski klar for nye utfordringer. Det fikk han hos Emil Solbakken. Nå har han bare drøyt tre måneder igjen av læretiden før han kan kalle seg montør.

– Det er veldig mye nytt å sette seg inn i her hos Emil Solbakken. Men det er spennende med nye utfordringer, sier 37-åringen, som egentlig er elektriker av utdanning, men som snart er fullverdig montør hvis alt går etter planen.

Flink kar

– Robert har gjort en veldig god jobb siden han begynte læretiden sin hos oss, sier daglig leder Kjetil Solbakken. Det har vært en fornøyelse å ha han med på laget. Han er både arbeidsom og flink, og han tar nye arbeidsoppgaver på strak arm. Med sin bakgrunn som elektriker og vaktmester ser han alltid de riktige løsningene.

Trives i Elverum

Som navnet antyder, er Robert Obrebski av polsk opprinnelse. Født og oppvokst i Plonsk i nordlige Polen. Som 26-åring kom han til Norge for 11 år siden, og bosatte seg med kona på Elverum. Sammen har de tre barn i alderen ti, syv og fem år, og familien trives aldeles utmerket i byen ved Glommas bredder.

– Dette er en veldig trivelig by med massevis av spennende muligheter både for oss voksne og barna, mener Obrebski.

Veldig godt miljø

Robert Obrebski har bare godt å si om sin nye jobb, også.

– Det er et veldig godt miljø her hos Emil Solbakken. Veldig hyggelige og flinke mennesker, og det er morsomt å jobbe med de flotte produktene vi har.
