2018 var et veldig bra år!

Emil Solbakken har hatt en betydelig vekst det siste året.

– I 2018 har vi gått fra tre til fire ansatte og vi er svært fornøyde med vår nye montør Geir Oppegård. I løpet av året har vi økt i omsetning, fått flere nye kunder, nye serviceavtaler og nye samarbeidsavtaler med større entreprenører, forteller en storfornøyd Kristoffer Solbakken.

Han er tredje generasjon som har valgt å gå i bestefarens fotspor og er sønnen til daglig leder Kjetil Solbakken.


Flere nye byggeprosjekter

 

Kristoffer mener at en viktig grunn til at firmaet leverer godt i 2018 er at det skjer mye innen bygging i Hedmark og Oppland.

– 2018 var et veldig bra år! Det er spesielt morsomt at det bygges mye innen næringsbygg her i Elverum og at vi leverer produkter til store prosjekter som Møller Bil og Elverums Handelspark, forteller Kristoffer.


I tillegg påpeker han at firmaet er blitt bedre på å være mer synlige og ikke minst at de har fornøyde kunder.

– Vi er blitt mer aktive i sosiale medier og vi merker naturligvis at jungeltelegrafen er med å spre positiv omtale om arbeidet vårt. Vi vet vi er gode på service og vi følger opp kunden hele veien fra befaring til sluttfasen. På den måten blir vi godt kjent med kundene våre og kundene er aldri i tvil om hvem som leverer de ulike tjenestene.

Emil Solbakken er opptatt av å vise sin bransjekunnskap og å gi best mulig service til sine kunder. De ansatte viser at de alltid er klare for å trå til, uansett når på døgnet kunden måtte trenge hjelp.

– Ett av de oppdragene jeg vil trekke frem fra 2018 er en helgejobb for Moelven Våler AS i Braskereidfoss der vi jobbet døgnet rundt for å komme i mål med arbeidsoppdraget. Plasseringen av porten, lå litt kronglete til, slik at vi kunne ikke benytte oss av truck eller lift, og vi måtte blant annet bygge vår egen rampe, forteller Kristoffer.


– Vi hadde kniven på strupen for å få arbeidet ferdig slik at produksjonen kunne gå som normalt igjen på mandagen. Da jobbet vi konstant fra fredag ettermiddag til søndag kveld for å fikse det vi skulle. Vi leverer det vi skal, og når kunden er fornøyd er vi fornøyde. Skjer det noe hvor vi må jobbe natta så trår vi til om nødvendig.

 

Trenger større lokaler og flere ansatte


Når det gjelder utvalget av produkter så kommer det stadig flere, spennende nyheter. Kristoffer trekker frem særlig Lindab-produktene hos Emil Solbakken som hadde et solid løft i 2018.

– Vi økte omsetningen med 278 prosent kontra 2017 når det gjelder Lindab-produktene! Dette er produkter som har blitt mer synlige det siste året og vi har også blitt flinkere til å informere kundene våre om alternativene, sier Kristoffer.

Det er liten tvil om at pilene peker i riktig retning for Elverumsbedriften. Med gode resultater fra 2018 har Emil Solbakken nå planer om å ansette enda en person i tillegg til at firmaet får nye lokaler.

– Vi trenger flere flinke folk og vi ser etter noen som har arbeidet med porter før, og som har erfaring med service og montering. I løpet av året vil vi også flytte til Industrigata i Elverum. Nå har vi et verksted med kontor, men i de nye lokalene vil vi også kunne tilby showroom og butikk hvor folk kan komme innom for å se våre ulike produkter, kjøpe deler og lignende, avslører Kristoffer.
